  2. Performance has generally been good however the service has been a little slow this year. My accounting year ends on the 6th April and Heidi (who I understand has left) was always very prompt with preparing my accounts. This time around It has now been 2 months now since April 6th and my accounts still haven't been done and I wasn't/haven't been officially informed that A) Heidi has left, and B) who my new point of contact is. – How would you describe our performance overall?

  5. I have found the staff to be very supported and their knowledge and experience second to non. Being a new start up business, whilst l might the skills in my field l certainly needed the accountancy knowledge this team offers.   12. Occasionally I receive letters from HMRC about issues I had not been warned about (P11d) or for payments I had not expected (early corporate tax payment due to first year of business). These are usually resolved quickly but cause unnecessary stress. – How would you describe us overall?

  13. Improve? I don't think you can. I've been very pleased with the support and guidance from everyone at Evans. They clearly explain options and have allowed me for focus on getting myself established in the contractor market as I can safely and assuredly leave the accounting of my business in their capable hands. Through their culture of continuous improvement and genuine desire to ask how they can do better, they proactively stay on top of their game. – How would you describe us overall?

  20. Sometimes it's easy to slip into the thinking that you are business / financial consultants and I understand that this is not in your remit. I wonder though if there is a forum for us to work together in securing the future intent for the business so that we can be confident that the financial accounting aspects are seen holistically in the business. Maybe at the year start we could arrange a meeting (I realise this may come at extra cost) to discuss plans for the business and see if there is anything in the accounting that may help to achieve the business's goals? – How would you describe us overall?

  21. I am not happy with how our account with you is being conducted .. Deadlines for returns are not being executed in a cohesive way to ensure that suitable time is agreeable to both parties. If we do not follow up on unanswered queries we will not receive a response! .. this quite often leads to a knee jerk action rather than a considered and informed approach – How would you describe us overall?
